double exposure practice

Went for a double exposure here. the effect plays heavily on shadows and highlights. we had to shoot a subject on a bright background. next we overlayed an image onto the high contrast image. if the effect is done right the second image should show through the shadows of the first.

straight photography

some black and white unedited photography inspired by straight photography. i went around shooting normal things trying to capture them in there purest form. i also tried to mystify them while keeping them true to their original nature by shooting at various angles.

proposal: tilt shift

utilize our knowledge in photography to change our perspective on the world. we should engage our surroundings and implement the tilt shift technique to transform our world.

Midterm 10

this is the midterm post of some of our best work through out the class. this is also a candidate to decide if I should print these at the end of the class.

sxu research expo day

The day of the research expo was busy. The art department had to set up to present its findings from experimentation. i documented various scenes and actions of the set up process.

I took a 3 set of images with a purpose. the first purpose was to take images of the art. the second purpose was taking pictures of the artist next to their work. the last purpose was showing the artists interacting with people about their work.
